Allegation / charges

<p>It appears the Lawyer has:</p><ol><li>Inserted signatures into four (4) costs agreements without authorisation</li><li>Provided those costs agreements to the Office of the NSW Legal Services Commissioner (NSW Commissioner) in an attempt to mislead; and</li><li>Made a written statement to the NSW Commissioner in an attempt to mislead</li></ol> — Unable to fulfil the inherent requirements of an Australian legal practitioner namely, she is unable to discharge: her fiduciary duties to clients; the fundamental duty to conduct herself honestly in all dealings in the course of legal practice, including in dealings with regulatory authorities; and the duty not to engage in conduct which is likely to a material degree to be prejudicial to, or diminish the public confidence in, the administration of justice, or bring the legal profession into disrepute.
