Comply with rules of foreign jurisdictions profession
When acting or practising outside the home jurisdiction the lawyer must comply with the applicable conduct rules of the host jurisdiction and place of proceedings, so far as consistent with their core duties.
How the codes express this duty
E&W Solicitors SRA Principles & Code CCS Introduction partial 20 cases
They apply to conduct and behaviour relating to your practice, and comprise a framework for ethical and competent practice which applies irrespective of your role or the environment or organisation in which you work (subject to the Overseas Rules which apply to your practice overseas).

E&W Barristers BSB Handbook rC13; rC147; rC152 strong
rC13 In connection with any foreign work you must comply with any applicable rule of conduct prescribed by the law or by any national or local Bar of: .1 the place where the work is or is to be performed; and .2 the place where any proceedings or matters to which the work relates are taking place or contemplated; unless such rule is inconsistent with any requirement of the Core Duties.

AU Solicitors Solicitors' Conduct Rules no clear equivalent
AU Barristers Uniform Barristers Rules r9 partial 2 cases
these Rules apply to: (a) a barrister who is a local legal practitioner, except to the extent that the conduct of the barrister in relation to practice in another Australian State or Territory is regulated by Barristers' Rules for that State or Territory; (b) a barrister who is an interstate legal practitioner, in relation to practice in this jurisdiction.

IE Solicitors Law Society Guide Ch11 — EU Directive on Establishment strong
The directive deals with the matter of rules of professional conduct. It provides that the immigrant lawyer is subject to the rules of professional conduct that apply to lawyers in the host state.

JE Lawyers Law Society of Jersey Code G.14.2 strong
If the member is practising in another jurisdiction, and subject to the legal practice regulatory regime in that jurisdiction, the member must comply with the rules of that jurisdiction, when the member is carrying out an activity regulated by that jurisdiction's regulator.
