Allegation / charges

On 26 May 2023, the Law Society Council suspended the practising certificate for the practising year ending 30 June 2023 following a recommendation pursuant to s.278 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law by the Professional Conduct Committee that the action was warranted in the public interest on the grounds of the seriousness of the alleged conduct by Anne Kazas-Rogaris the subject of a complaint On 28 June 2023, the Council renewed the Lawyer’s Australian Practising Certificate pursuant to s78(2) of the Uniform Law for the period from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 and then immediately suspended it.
