Firm governance, systems and compliance practice

The lawyer or firm must maintain effective governance, systems, controls and records that identify and manage risk and ensure legislative and regulatory compliance.

2.1 You have effective governance structures, arrangements, systems and controls in place that ensure: (a) you comply with all the SRA's regulatory arrangements, as well as with other regulatory and legislative requirements, which apply to you; ... 2.2 You keep and maintain records to demonstrate compliance with your obligations under the SRA's regulatory arrangements. 2.5 You identify, monitor and manage all material risks to your business, including those which may arise from your connected practices.
